Kate Purcell is a native to Feakle in East County Clare and has been singing professionally for several years, starting her career with a three piece band and then deciding to embark on a solo career.

Her Debut Album "A Dream Unfolds" was released in 1996 to great critical acclaim and much national airplay and Live Broadcasts on RTE and TG4. Kate released her second Album "Shadows of You" in 2003 and this release has won her several awards and invitations to perform in China (with Traditional super group Lúnasa), U.S.A. many times. The Netherlands ( with Irish Unplugged featuring The 4 of Us, Mairin Fahy and Kate) and many performances in England and Northern Ireland.

Kate is Resident Entertainer in the Internationally acclaimed five star Hotel, Dromoland Castle and performs there throughout the year.

Kate Purcell has been singing in Church for Weddings for many years and has developed a reputation for her soulful interpretation of the standard songs used for Church Weddings. She will meet with the client at a convenient time ( usually when the mass booklet is being assembled) and go through the options available for the different parts of the mass.
